About this course

Building upon the skills learned in the Making Data Searchable course, this course will take a deep dive into data modeling and optimizing the loaded data for the ThoughtSpot search experience. Beginning with topics on data modeling design types you will learn about the benefits and detractions of different modeling design choices. The class quickly moves into hands-on lecture around Modeling challenges like many to many relationships, 1 to 1 relationships, chasm and fan traps, multiple join paths and hierarchies and how to resolve them. Guidelines for building worksheets within different models and understanding the worksheet join rule round out the course.
