About this Certification

A Certified ThoughtSpot Cloud Architect can set up a ThoughtSpot environment in the cloud and go from “Zero to Search”. They know how to connect to an existing data warehouse and create models and join tables so that users can access data and ask questions on their own with an intuitive, searchable data experience. They know how to use data management settings and configurations to design models for search: rename columns, add descriptions, synonyms, and set aggregation types.  They are able to create formulas and parameters within a model.  A cloud architect can create a custom calendar and deploy it within ThoughtSpot.  They understand how data literacy is improved by utilizing catalog integrations.  They understand the role that views can take in the schema and can create both search-based and custom sql views.

They can understand the benefits and detractions of different data modeling design choices and how to resolve any modeling challenges like multiple join paths, hierarchies, fan traps, chasm traps, etc. They can make the appropriate settings and configurations to ensure that the correct schema and data modeling structures are utilized to ensure the value of ThoughtSpot is realized in a real-world use case.

Complete the 3 day in-person (5 day virtual) ThoughtSpot Cloud Essentials course, or the 1.5 day in person (2 day virtual) ThoughtSpot Data Expert course, or have equivalent experience with ThoughtSpot.

It is recommended that you successfully complete the ThoughtSpot Certified Professional Exam with online proctoring, prior to attempting the ThoughtSpot Cloud Architect Certification.
