In this 3-day in-person training program, you will learn all of the core concepts in deploying the fully managed SaaS solution, ThoughtSpot Cloud. Starting with Day 1, the course will cover all end user feature functionality through two modules, End User Essentials and Advanced End User. This day will help educate you on all of the capabilities of the platform as well as set the proper context and prepare you for the subsequent days of training. Day 2, the Data Expert training day, will focus on the deployment of ThoughtSpot within its two main components: Data Connectivity and Making Data Searchable. Finally, Day 3 covers ThoughtSpot Administration (Authentication, Security, Orgs, and more) and Advanced Data Modeling. By the end of the three days, you will be prepared to to sit for the 3 core ThoughtSpot Certifications: Professional, Cloud Architect, and Administrator.

ThoughtSpot End User Essentials - 4 hours
End User Essentials is the foundation course designed to teach participants the core end user functionality of ThoughtSpot. Through hands-on lecture, students will master basic search, changing visualizations, saving answers, drilling, filtering, and using ThoughtSpot Mobile to analyze data from their mobile devices.

ThoughtSpot Advanced End User - 4 hours

During this hands-on, interactive course you will dive deeper into Liveboard creation, formatting your results, and using SpotIQ to find answers to questions you didn’t even know to ask of your data. Do more advanced searches using ThoughtSpot Keywords and create your own custom attributes and measures using formulas to take your analyses to the next level.

ThoughtSpot Data Expert Training - Day 2
The Data Expert Training involves an end-to-end discussion on the process of connecting to your data and optimizing it for search in ThoughtSpot. It also introduces several relevant data modeling topics. Includes hands-on, interactive lecture allowing participants to experience setting up the data connection for themselves.
ThoughtSpot Data Connectivity - 1 hour
This course focuses on the main technical topics and best practices around connecting ThoughtSpot to your data with Embrace. Through interactive lecture and specially designed training environments, you will then get hands-on practice creating a connection to a Cloud Data Warehouse (CDW) and deciding which tables and columns will be available for search by your business users.

ThoughtSpot Making Data Searchable - 4 hours
Modeling and optimizing the loaded data for the ThoughtSpot search experience will be covered in detail in this course. Advanced topics include formula creation, using views, and making use of row level security to ensure ThoughtSpot users only see the data they have permission to see.

The class quickly moves into hands-on lecture around Modeling challenges like many to many relationships, 1 to 1 relationships, chasm and fan traps and multiple join paths and how to resolve them. Guidelines for building worksheets within different models and understanding the worksheet join rule round out the course.
